ChiqMe is an on-demand beauty app delivering hair, makeup and nail services. Whether it’s Seamless, Uber, or Fresh Direct, the fact remains we live in an on-demand driven society. We want what we want, and we want it now. ChiqMe set out to disrupt the vertical–a landscape providing services only to women–by servicing both the male and female demographic.
When approaching this, we understood the need for the branding and the UI not to skew too far male or female, especially in the early screens. With that in mind, we developed a sleek and modern logo and icon with a neutral, yet fashionable color palette. We paired these elements with photography throughout the app to clearly communicate who Chiqme is and the services it provides.
